To accommodate the increasing population’s needs, the agriculture industry will have to utilize innovative technologies to attain their requirements. Agricultural applications of IoT (Internet of Things) will enable the industry to enhance operational productivity, reduce expenses, lessen waste, and increase their yield quality.Smart farming majorly depends on IoT, therefore, reducing the need  for physical work of farmers and growers and increasing productivity in every possible manner.

  • Impact of IoT in Agriculture:
  • IoT- based smart farming  is built for monitoring the crop field     with the help of sensors to detect availability of light,humidity,temperature,soil moisture, etc and automating the irrigation
  • The providers of the IoT system continue to develop platforms that can communicate , and sense precisely measured environmental data to help farm performance
  • Technologies behind these IoT platforms include drones, LED lights, energy harvesting, transmitters, microcontrollers etc. 
  • Objectives:

The major limiting factors of farmers in maximizing their farm incomes are access to the technology.Considering these challenges the main objectives to be looked upon are:

  • To introduce various mobile based solutions to the farmers which will be easy to operate and to understand
  • To create awareness about their usage and the need of them in this changing world
  • To make them available with the mobile applications through which they can monitor the crop requirements 
  • To create awareness about the “Greenbliss app” which provide a digital platform through which they can directly sell their produce to the customers reducing the middleman    
  • CHC Unit:

 “Greenbliss agro” was finding solutions to the reach of agriculture problems the world is facing today. Digitization of agriculture is the expected future. To bring them in the reach of small and marginal farmers our company collaborated with some companies which offered information communication technology in agriculture

  • We had collaborated with “KRISHITANTRA”application and carried out soil testing at our soil testing centres in the FPO’s which provided the result within 40 minutes. By this we would recommend the fertilizer doses to the farmers

  • We developed a “Greenbliss store” application which is powered by Infoscalze. This application offered a digital platform for the member farmers of the FPO for selling their produce directly to the customers without the need of the middleman 
  • All the information of the member farmers of the FPO’s regarding the time of sowing of the crop,its management practices,harvesting etc are recorded digitally by the traceability team.                      
  • We also introduced a mobile controlled technology to the farmers. All the pumps are linked to the cloud server called Internet of Pumps. This server receives data from all the pumps which helps in analyzing the usage of water and electricity through a GSM-based controller device named as ‘Kisan Raja’ The device allows farmers to control agriculture pumps using their mobile phone from anywhere at any time. Farmers are able to focus on other productive work in the saved time

    • We introduced drone technology to the the members of the FPO’s and trained them to use in their fields               

  • Traceability is important for food-safety security, efficient operability and quality control. It includes logistics management for storing, collecting, transmitting information about food supply-chains.for this accept Greenbliss Agro collaborated with the team TraceX

  • For Logistics and supply chain, Greenbliss Agro is collaborated with the Freshflow

  • Train  the farmers on the digital platforms and make them aware about interventions
  • Creating Dashboards on all interventions
  • Integrating all the interventions under a single digital platform
